Scotline
carried its first forest product cargo of Logs from Inverness to
Varberg in 1979.
Today, Scotline own seven out of our fleet of eight modern box hold
vessels. We operate three independent Timber Terminals at Inverness,
Gunness on the Trent & Rochester on the Medway.
To meet our expanding trade we have invested in two new forest product
vessels, the first of which, the mv. “SCOT MARINER”
was launched on the 24th August 2001 and the second vessel, the
mv. “SCOT VENTURE” was launched on the 22nd March 2002.
Scotline have also invested in two new high cab crawler based, British
built, port cranes at Rochester. A new pulp warehouse and adjoining
office complex are now fully operational at Rochester.
Scotline are committed to providing a high level of service to the
Timber Trade and we believe your future is our future.
