The Scotline liner service is the core of our business and should be your first stop for moving timber around the UK and Northern Europe
Our liner service was inaugurated in 1981, shipping Swedish packaged timber from Varberg to Inverness and we now have regular sailings to Rochester, King’s Lynn and Hull on the east coast of the UK, Newport in south Wales, and Belfast, Warrenpoint & Wicklow in the Irish Sea. From Germany we load in Wismar and Brake to Inverness, Cork, Wicklow, Warrenpoint & Belfast. From the Baltic States, we load in Riga to Inverness & Rochester.
Although this is the core of the business, we are not just the liner service and also regularly run alternative routes. Have a look at our Current Positions page to see where the vessels .
